Ryan's core responsibilities can be summarised as the development of IT and Data Protection policies, procedures and systems – underpinning these with clear rationales, ensuring alignment to relevant legislation and drawing upon industry best practice. With the important role technology plays in empowering educators, Ryan is tasked with delivering an effective, efficient and user-focused IT function. As part of this, he manages the IT support service provided by the Trust IT Technician alongside third-parties. Ryan entered the workforce in 2014 as a Teaching Assistant which instilled him with an understanding of and sympathy for learners' experiences.
